We humans find ways to express creativity in everything we do. It is what identifies us as a species: we are all creative and practicing it makes us feel alive, precisely because it re-creates us.<\/p>\n

Creativity is out in the street and it decorates cities. Today we collected some of the most unusual sculptures in the world with a particular eye. Some have grounds worthy of presenting a campaign, and others are so absurd that nobody manages to explain them.<\/p>\n

Whatever the case, nobody would call their creativity into question. They serve as inspiration because they represent concepts summed up in a figure or a situation.<\/p>\n

This is one of the sculptures spread all over the city of Marseille. They all have something in common: they are all missing a\u00a0part. Could it be that when we leave we leave things behind, or that by traveling we are building ourselves?<\/p>\n

They are five life-size statues frozen mid-leap into the water. They are part of a series called \u201cThe People of the River\u201d, and it recalls old customs of the city, before outdoor recreation was constrained by avenues and skyscrapers.<\/p>\n

Headbutt. <\/strong>Paris.<\/p>\n

Football is one of the most popular universal passions. Maradona, Labruna and Riquelme are some of the idols immortalized in Argentina. Messi, Ronaldo and Charlton, in the world. But the most unusual sculpture is the one that recalls the incident between Zidane and Materazzi, which ended with the Frenchman’s sending-off and the Italian’s triumph in the 2006 final. Its creator defines it as the opposite of the concept of a monument: \u201cit is an ode to defeat\u201d.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Every passer-by stops at his side, to see what he is looking at so intently. His gaze is directed at the glass case that holds the remains of the old Church of Santa Mar\u00eda de Almudena. The charm of this tribute to an ordinary man is that, by stopping at his side, we all become the curious neighbor.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Tourists and locals wonder about those legs that have been on that corner for decades. Was it never finished? Could it have been destroyed? The fact is that the strange monument worthy of Springfield is part of the history of Mendoza and, after many years of being a bleak and gray piece, it now sports striped socks, painted nails and even a heartfelt \u201cOde to the Statue\u201d that cheerfully integrate it into the urban landscape.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
