Argency at EXPO 2025 Osaka: creativity, technology and connections without borders
Very soon we will be in Osaka, walking through pavilions and letting ourselves be inspired by Expo 2025.

Last April, Expo 2025 opened its doors in Osaka, Japan, and very soon we will be there, walking through pavilions, exploring ideas and letting ourselves be inspired by one of the most influential gatherings on the planet. For Argency, being part of this experience means being in direct contact with the innovation, culture and creativity that are setting the global agenda.
The artificial island of Yumeshima is the stage for one of those events that make history: the World Expo, which every five years brings together countries, brands and creators to show how we imagine the future.
For those of us who live off creativity and technology, this event is a living laboratory where ideas are put to the test and connections turn into inspiration for real projects.

History as inspiration
Expos have more than 170 years of history. The first one was in 1851, in London, with the Crystal Palace as the emblem of the Great Exhibition. That monumental iron and glass structure became an icon of industrial progress and of the spirit of an era that wanted to show itself to the world.
Over the years, every Expo left its mark. In Paris 1889 the Eiffel Tower was built, conceived as a temporary installation and later turned into an eternal symbol of modernity.
In Osaka 1970, the first Expo in Asia unfolded futuristic architecture and technology that showed the world Japan’s innovative spirit. Decades later, EPCOT Center (1982) at Disney took up the concept of national and thematic pavilions again, demonstrating the power of these fairs as a model for telling the stories of countries and visions of the future.
These milestones mark a pattern: every Expo presents advances that shape the way the world imagines progress.

What does Osaka 2025 bring?
The official motto is “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”. The proposal is organized around three axes — Saving Lives, Empowering Lives and Connecting Lives.
At Argency and at The Garage we feel especially close to the last one: Connecting Lives. It speaks of how technology, mobility and culture combine to generate new forms of community. It is thinking about digital platforms that connect people, about immersive experiences that cross physical borders, about spaces designed to co-create instead of just observe. It is, ultimately, the same spirit that guides us when we design strategies, brands and technological solutions for clients looking to go further.
The great wooden structure and a shared future
One of the icons of this edition is the Grand Ring, designed by Sou Fujimoto: the largest wooden structure in the world, which surrounds the pavilions as a symbol of union. and of how we move, how we meet, how we live together.
More than 150 countries and organizations take part with their own pavilions, each one telling its vision of the future. Some bet on the blue economy, others on biotechnology or artificial intelligence applied to everyday life. All in a single territory: 155 hectares that work as a living laboratory of global creativity.

Why are we in Osaka?
Because we know that being at EXPO 2025 Osaka means exposing ourselves to new ways of thinking.
Because creativity does not feed only on campaigns, it feeds on architecture, on immersive experiences, on how a country narrates its identity.
Because connecting with what is happening in Japan, in Europe or in the Middle East today translates into more solid and original projects for our clients.
Because the technology we explore at The Garage becomes a competitive advantage: participatory platforms, immersive journeys, data at the service of the experience.
Connection, innovation, future
Every Expo leaves a tangible legacy —from the Crystal Palace to the Eiffel Tower, from the Grand Palais to Epcot— and Osaka 2025 confirms that tradition. For us, it is the chance to bring back new references, fresh ideas and connections that inspire the next stage of our projects.
At Argency we believe creativity grows stronger in contact with the world. And few experiences are as powerful as a world Expo to remind us that innovation has no borders.

The conceptual creativity at the service of the pavilions’ architecture and the huge turnout of people were striking.
